FESTIVE CHURCH CONCERT 2024 DON KOSAKEN CHOR SERGE JAROFF ® SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2024, 7:00 PM PILGRIMAGE CHURCH GROSSGMAIN

This magnificent world-class choir, known from countless television appearances and CD recordings, will, fueled by the enthusiasm of its audience, make its debut in Großgmain this October with a powerful new concert program. We are particularly delighted that this concert can take place. The choir will consist exclusively of Ukrainian singers. Listeners can look forward to a musical celebration of grand voices and heartfelt songs. This concert has been made possible through a close and exceptionally trusting collaboration with the Cultural Circle of Großgmain, represented by Mrs. Ingrid Scheucher.

Through years of touring, this choir, under its artistic director WANJA HLIBKA, has garnered countless enthusiastic and loyal listeners everywhere. The concerts, whether in concert halls, large, or smaller churches, have come to be described as "cult" and are celebrated with standing ovations everywhere.

This is a high-caliber top ensemble. WANJA HLIBKA, the artistic and musical director of the choir, sang for many years as the youngest soloist in the world-famous choir of SERGE JAROFF and has had the privilege of using the original arrangements as the basis for his artistic work. The other Ukrainian singers captivate their audience at every tour stop with their beautiful voices and festive church songs, often in an ethereal sound.

In memory of SERGE JAROFF, who once led his Don Cossacks to world fame and was himself a church musician.
