Hike to Nonn and St. George’s Church

An easy hike through historic Bad Reichenhall to the district of Nonn and St. George’s Church, continuing to Kirchberg railway station.
Refreshment stops are available at Hotel-Restaurant Neu Meran or the local fire station.
Return to the starting point by city bus.

The route follows several notable landmarks to a scenic rest area with beautiful views over Bad Reichenhall at Pankrazkircherl, before continuing to Lake Thumsee, where refreshments are available.

Alpgarten Gorge Circular Trail

A scenic circular hike through the Alpgarten Gorge, following the Alpgartenbach stream through impressive ravines. Some sections of the trail are rocky.
Elevation gain: approx. 300 m

Hike to Marzoll Castle

An easy hike to Marzoll Castle (the castle itself is not open to the public).
The route follows the Königsweg along shady forest paths to the picturesque district of Marzoll. There is an opportunity to stop for refreshments at the Schlossberghof Marzoll.

A scenic hike up to Bürgermeisterhöhe at 774 metres.
The ascent leads via Schroffen, with the descent via Kibling. Return is scheduled for approximately 5:00 pm.

Elevation gain: approx. 350 m
Sturdy hiking shoes with good-grip soles are required. Hiking poles are recommended.
