Celebrate the Maypole Festival with the Großgmain Christmas Marksmen, the Großgmain Traditional Band, and the Großgmain Farmers’ Women. If you’d like to test your accuracy, you can take part in the traditional “Bölzlschießen” – and even take the beautifully designed target home as a souvenir.

The festivities, including the traditional maypole raising, begin at 1:00 pm.

From the museum’s opening in the morning, you can already admire the skills of various craftspeople.

Members of the Friends’ Association of the Salzburg Open-Air Museum enjoy free admission.
