The spacious grounds of the museum offer many opportunities to discover nature through play: meadows, forests, water areas, nature gardens, and even a butterfly trail.

We will get to know the historic museum buildings and their unique features through individual guided tours. We will also take a closer look at the herb garden of a traditional farmhouse and discover what can be made from meadow herbs.

With games, fun activities, and hands-on craft challenges, every day will be different from the last!

The program is organized and supervised by the regional group of the Austrian Nature Conservation Youth Association (ÖNJ), with additional experts invited for specific topics.

Date: July 20–24, 2026 (Monday–Friday)
Time: 08:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Age: Children aged 8–12 years
Costs: €220.00 or €190.00 for ÖNJ members; discounts are available for siblings
Participants: Maximum 16 children

Please note: Participation in the Nature Adventure Week is only possible for the entire week. Registration for individual days is not possible.

Daily meeting point at the main entrance at 8:00 a.m.

Morning snacks should be brought from home

Lunch at the Salettl or Bundwerkstadel, as well as an afternoon snack, are included in the price

Admission to the Open-Air Museum and all guided tours are included in the participation fee

Cost per child: €220 / €190 for ÖNJ members (siblings receive a discount)

Registration is valid for the entire week; participation for the full week is mandatory
