Palm bouquets, painted eggs, and Easter (artisan) crafts: welcome to the Easter Market.
But watching the tying of traditional palm bouquets is only one of the highlights. In the unique atmosphere of the Salzburg Open-Air Museum, visitors can also experience traditional Easter crafts: from carving Holy Spirit doves and artistically painting eggs with Easter motifs to floral Easter arrangements and seasonal handicrafts. Of course, these handcrafted items can also be purchased. And why not treat yourself to a delicious loaf of bread for your Easter basket, freshly baked in a traditional wood-fired oven?
From the region for our visitors: local producers offer everything for a beautifully filled Easter basket — bacon, butter, sausages, honey, Easter bread, and much more.
