Workshop Lederverabeitung im Salzburger Freilichtmuseum

We won’t be making a saddle – but while sewing and designing your own belt, you’ll learn a great deal about the traditional craft of saddle making.

In a small group setting, you will create your very own leather piece under the professional guidance of a master craftswoman.

All materials and tools will be provided.

Please note: Due to limited equipment – only three saddler’s horses are available – the number of participants is strictly limited to three.

Workshop Leader: Andrea Elmer, Bayerisch Gmain

Andrea Elmer is a true professional when it comes to saddle making. After completing her studies in equine science, she trained as an equestrian saddler.

Today, she specializes in English saddles, particularly dressage saddles. In addition to custom-made saddles and accessories for horse and rider, she also accepts smaller custom orders.
