Workshop Lederverarbeitung im Salzburger Freilichtmuseum

We may not be making a saddle—but while sewing and designing your own belt, you’ll gain fascinating insights into the craft of saddle making.

In a small group, you will create your own piece under professional guidance. All materials and tools are provided.

As only three saddler’s horses (workstations) are available for this workshop, the number of participants is strictly limited.

Workshop instructor: Andrea Elmer, Bayerisch Gmain
Andrea Elmer is truly passionate about saddle making. After studying equine science, she trained as an equestrian saddler. Today, she mainly specializes in English saddles, particularly dressage saddles. In addition to custom-made saddles and equipment for riders and horses, she also produces smaller commissioned leather goods.
